Isles Day to Day: Trotz 'Confident' Cizikas Will Play Friday

Casey Cizikas missed his second straight day of practice on Tuesday, but Head Coach Barry Trotz is confident that the center will be ready to go for Friday's season opener vs Washington.
"Very confident with Casey," Trotz said. "He's made great improvement, he went for a twirl today and I'm pretty confident."

Cizikas was shaken up after a collision with Rangers defensemen Adam Fox in the closing minute of Saturday night's 4-2 preseason win. With Cizikas missing practice, Tom Kuhnhackl took line drills with Matt Martin and Cal Clutterbuck.
