The second day of the New York Islanders 2022 Training Camp looked a lot like the first.
Head Coach Lane Lambert skated his group hard, capping off each of his three sessions with starts and stops between the blue lines.
The groups largely stayed the same, with the exception of Vincent Sevigny moving from the blue group to the orange group. The goaltending duos/trios stayed the same, but skated with different forward groups so that the goalies will eventually see every shooter in camp.
"Every goalie will get to see see every shooter in training camp and they get to see every goalie," Lambert said. "It's a positive thing."
Semyon Varlamov (personal) did not skate on Friday, but is expected to skate on Saturday. Jakub Skarek played in an extra session.
