Isles Day-To-Day: Mayfield Returned To Bridgeport

Defenseman scored first goal of the season during emergency recall

Scott Mayfield was returned on loan to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Tuesday morning. Mayfield was recalled on Dec. 6 under emergency conditions, playing against the New York Rangers that night in place of a sick Johnny Boychuk. Mayfield scored his first goal of the season vs. New York and has three points (1G, 2A) in three games this season.
