Durandeau's week started with a three-assist night in Halifax's 6-5 OT win over Rimouski on Monday, including an assist on the OT-winner. Durandeau contributed another assist on Wednesday, in yet another overtime win for Halifax, a 3-2 final against the Charlottetown Islanders. Saturday's 4-1 victory over the Gatineau Olympiques brought another multi-point game for Durandeau, with an empty-netter and his 30th assist of the season. The Mooseheads 7-1 loss to the Drummondville Voltigeurs ended Durandeau's eight-game run.
The Islanders' 2017 sixth round pick has scored 48 points (18G, 30A) in 59 games so far this season, tying him for fifth in team points and placing him fifth in team assists and sixth in team goals.
