by Cory Wright WrightsWay / New York Islanders

College hockey is officially underway, but it's the Islanders prospects in Canada and Europe that are making headlines this week. A pair of CHL prospects recorded four-point weeks, while Otto Koivula led all prospects with a five-point week in Finland. Read more in this week's Islanders Prospect Report.

David Quenneville Stays Hot with Four-Point Week:

Defenseman David Quenneville continued his hot start to the season, recording four points in a pair of wins for Medicine Hat Tigers last week.

The Islanders 2016 seventh-round pick picked up a season-high three assists in the Tigers' 4-2 win over the Regina Pats on Friday. Quenneville recorded two primary assists as well as the secondary helper on the game-winning goal. The 19-year-old assisted on Medicine Hat's only goal in a 6-1 loss to Prince Albert on Saturday.

Quenneville now has eight assists on a five-game point streak to start the season. He's tied for the team lead in points and is tied for sixth in points for WHL defensemen.

Durandeau Continues Best Start to Junior Season:

Arnaud Durandeau is off to his best start of his junior career scoring nine points (4G, 5A) on a season-opening six-game point streak. The Islanders' 2017 sixth-round pick recorded four points (2G, 2A) in two games last week for the Halifax Mooseheads. Durandeau netted two goals and an assist in a 5-4 overtime loss on Sunday and was named the First Star in the losing effort.

Durandeau is one point shy of the team lead and the Mooseheads are off to a 4-1-2 start to the season.

Otto Koivula Scores Five-Point Week for Ilves:

Otto Koivula had a five-point (1G, 4A) week for Ilves in Liiga, the top Finnish league.

The Islanders 2016 fourth-round pick had a career-high four points (1G, 3A) in 5-4 win over HPK on Friday, recording his first goal and multi-point game of the season. Koivula was named the player of the game for his four-point effort.

He followed it up with an assist the next night in a 2-0 win over Vaasan Sport.

Koivula is second in team scoring with seven points (1G, 6A) in 12 games this season.

Class in Session for College Hockey:

The college hockey season is officially underway and that meant the NCAA debuts for 2017 third-round pick Ben Mirageas and 2016 sixth-round pick Collin Adams.

Adams picked up his first goal and point in his second college hockey game for the University of North Dakota, netting a power-play goal in a 3-2 OT win over Alaska Anchorage.
