Islanders Prospect Report: Nov. 14, 2022

Here are this week's updates on Islander prospects:

In three games in tournament play, Liukas has scored one goal, an empty-netter in a 4-1 win over Sweden, Finland's only win of the tournament.
Liukas, the Islanders' 2021 fifth round pick (157th overall) has eight points (3G, 5A) in 20 games with HPK in Liiga.

FINLEY'S TWO-POINT GAME

Quinn Finley scored a goal and added an assist in a shootout loss to the Chicago Steel on Nov. 11. The Madison Capitols took a 3-1 lead into the third, with Finley earning the primary assist on the goal that brought them ahead 2-1.
Finley then scored on a wrister in the third to bring the Capitols' lead to 4-2. Finley is second on the team in scoring with 16 total points (7G, 9A), and is tied for eighth in the USHL in points.

PIVONKA LIGHTS THE LAMP

Jake Pivonka scored his third goal of the season in the second period to tie the game for Omaha against Minnesota-Duluth on Nov. 12.
The goal came on the rush from the left circle. Omaha went on to lose the game 3-2 in overtime to split the two-game series with Minnesota-Duluth. Pivonka has seven points (3G, 4A) in 12 games this season.
