Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

Iskhakov, the Islanders 2018 second round pick (43rd overall), did not play in Games 4 and 5 of the series against Berlin. Iskhakov finished the playoffs with one assist in four games.
In his first season with Adler Mannheim, Iskhakov finished with 22 points (7G, 15A) in 25 regular season games.

LIUKAS, TPS LOSE LIIGA FINAL

Eetu Liukas and TPS lost the Liiga final in five games to Tappara.
Liukas and TPS kept their season alive with a 1-0 win in Game 4 on April 26, but fell 1-0 in Game 5 on April 28.
The Islanders' 2021 fifth-round pick (157th overall) finished the playoffs with four goals in 17 games and finished the regular season with 12 points (4G, 8A) in 48 games this season.

DUFOUR FINISHES SEASON ON GOAL STREAK

William Dufour's spectacular season ended on a strong note, as the Islanders prospect strung together a four-game goal streak to close out the schedule.
Dufour scored a goal in each of the Saint John Sea Dogs three games last week, totaling four points (3G, 1A), while extending his overall goal - and point streak - to four games (4G, 3A).
Dufour finished the season with a QMJHL-leading 56 goals and placed second in the league with 116 points. To put it in perspective, Dufour's 56 goals were more than his previous career-high in points (55) set during the 2019-20 season, though that season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dufour was named the Sea Dogs MVP, Player's Choice MVP and Top Scorer at the team's annual awards dinner.
The Islanders 2020 fifth-round draft pick (152nd overall) also led the QMJHL in power-play goals (20) and game-winning goals (13).
The Sea Dogs will play the Rimouski Océanic in the first round of the QMJHL playoffs. The best-of-five series kicks off with a back-to-back set on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6. Rimouski and Saint John split their season series 1-1. Dufour scored a pair of goals over the course of the two contests.

MACHU, YOUNGSTOWN ELIMINATED IN USHL PLAYOFFS

Tomas Machu and the Youngstown Phantoms were eliminated in the First Round of the USHL playoffs, losing 2-0 in a best-of-three series vs the Madison Capitols.
Madison won both games on Youngstown ice, winning 3-2 on April 25 and 5-3 on April 26. Machu played in Game 1, but not Game 2 of the series, recording a pair of shots in the first game.
Machu, the Islanders' 2021 seventh-round pick (221st overall), had a well-traveled season, playing for HC Vitkovice in both Czechia's top league and in the U20 league. He also played for Draci Šumperk and HC Dukla Jihlava in the Czechia2 league before coming stateside to play for Youngstown. In 34 games with the Phantoms, the defenseman recorded six assists.
