Ilya Sorokin picked up his ninth shutout of the season for CSKA Moscow as they blanked HC Sochi 6-0 on Feb. 27. The Isles' 2014 third rounder (78th overall) improved his record to 26-10-3 with a 1.50 goals against average and a save percentage of .935.

CSKA finished the season ranked first overall in the KHL with 94 points and a record of 45-13-4. With the top seed in the western conference, CSKA is taking on Torpedo in the first round of the Gagarin Cup Playoffs. In the first game of the series on March 2, CSKA defeated Torpedo 3-0 as Sorokin posted a 16-save shutout and registered a rare, primary assist on the insurance goal.
The shutout gave Sorokin possession on the KHL all-time list for shutouts with 15 through 66 games played.


BIBEAU RECORDS FOUR-GOAL WEEK

Felix Bibeau posted a four-goal week for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens in the QMJHL. The Isles' 2019 sixth rounder (178th overall) had three of his four goals this week come on the power play.

Bibeau earned third star of the game honors on Feb. 25 as he scored two power-play goals in Chicoutimi's 7-4 victory over Gatineau. Bibeau registered a two-point night with a goal and an assist to help Chicoutimi defeated Blainville-Boisbriand 4-1 on Feb. 29. The center kicked of the new month as he scored his fifth power-play goal with Chicoutimi and his 13th power-play goal of the season on March 1 as the Sagueneens beat Gatineau 4-1.

Through 28 games with Chicoutimi, Bibeau has 31 points (11G, 20A) and during the season as a whole, Bibeau has 70 points (28G, 38A) through 59 games.
With nine games left in the regular season and having already clinched their playoff ticket, Bibeau and Chicoutimi sit in third place in the QMJHL with 88 points and a record of 41-12-6


BOLDUC SCORES GAME-WINNER

Samuel Bolduc scored his 11th goal of the season and third game-winner during the Sherbrooke Phoenix's 9-4 rout over Val-d'Or on Feb. 29. The Isles' 2019 second rounder (57th overall) has 42 points (11G, 31A), three power-play goals and three game-winning goals through 59 games this season.
Through his 27 games Sherbrooke, Bolduc has 26 points (4G, 22A). The blueliner and the Phoenix are rolling with 11-straight wins and are ranked first overall in the QMJHL with 102 points. Sherbrooke has already clinched a playoff spot. Sherbrooke also locked up their division.


JENKINS' POWER PLAY MARKER

Blade Jenkins found the back of the net for the 14th time this season as he earned the third star of the game honors in Saginaw's 8-2 rout over Hamilton on Saturday. Jenkins converted on the power play and finished the game with three points (1G, 2A).
The Isles' 2018 fifth rounder (134th overall) has registered 36 points and 14 goals through 44 games with the Spirit. He is currently riding a seven-game point streak with 11 points (5G, 6A) over that span.
Jenkins, and fellow Isles prospects Cole Coskey and Bode Wilde and Saginaw, are ranked third overall in the OHL with 81 points and a record of 38-16-5.


ADAMS RIFLES IN 12TH GOAL OF THE YEAR

In the NCAA, Collin Adams scored his 12th goal of his junior campaign during North Dakota's weekend sweep over Western Michigan. The Isles' 2016 sixth rounder (170th overall) opened up scoring in the Fighting Hawks eventual 2-1 victory over Western Michigan that sealed the weekend series. Through 34 games this season, Adams has 28 points (12G, 16A), including six game-winning goals.
Adams and North Dakota are atop the NCAA standings with a record of 25-4-4. North Dakota also leads the NCHC standings with a conference record of 16-3-3.


PASTUJOV PUTS AWAY HIS EIGHTH OF THE SEASON

Nick Pastuojv lit the lamp for the eighth time during his senior season to help the Michigan Wolverines tie Minnesota 2-2 on Feb. 28. The following night, Pastujov and Michigan defeated Minnesota 2-1.
Through 34 games this season, the Isles' 2016 seventh rounder (193rd overall) has 16 points (8G, 8A), including five power-play goals.
Overall in the NCAA, Pastujov and Michigan are ranked 17th with a record of 16-14-4. In the BIG Ten conference, Michigan is tied with Ohio State for second place with 38 points and a conference record of 11-9-4.
