Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

JEFFERIES BURIES 10TH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Alex Jefferies buried his 10th goal of the season for the Merrimack Warriors over the weekend.
Jefferies, who the Islanders selected 121st overall in the 2020 NHL Draft converted his fifth power-play goal of the season in Merrimack's dominant 7-2 victory over UMass Lowell on March 12.
With the goal, Jeffries' point total for his sophomore season has reached 23 points (10G, 13A) through 33 games.
Jefferies and Merrimack are ranked fourth in the Hockey East conference with a 13-11-10 record and own an overall record of 19-15-1.


DUFOUR CONTINUES TO DRIVE THE OFFENSE

William Dufour kept the momentum going for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) as he extended his point streak to eight games.
The Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall) scored as Saint John topped Acadie-Bathurst 4-3 on March 9.

Dufour then went on to post a four-point outing with a goal and three assists as Saint John blanked Moncton 5-0 on March 12. Dufour opened the scoring in that game as he secured his 13th power-play goal which became the game's game winner and marked his eighth game-winning goal of the season.
The 20-year-old winger leads the entirety of the 'Q' in goals with 42. His 82 points (42G, 40A) through 45 games rank the second-most in the league. Dufour and Saint John have a 29-15-3 record and are sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference.
