QUINN FINLEY FITTING IN WITH CHICAGO

After four games back with the Chicago Steel, Quinn Finley hit the scoresheet with three points over the weekend.
Finley is finding his footing with the Steel after being traded by the Madison Capitols on Jan. 13. The Islanders' 2022 third-round draft pick (78th overall) had a two-point performance (1G, 1A) in his third game with the new team, a 5-4 loss to the Waterloo Black Hawks on Friday. Finley contributed an assist in Chicago's first goal and a goal of his own to make it 4-1 at the end of 40 minutes, but the Black Hawks pulled away in the third period with four goals to complete the comeback.

The 18-year-old winger also had an assist in the game-winning goal in a 3-2 victory for the Steel on Saturday. Finley has 30 points (11G, 19A) this season, which includes 23 games with the Madison Capitols and four with the Steel.

EETU LIUKAS LIGHTS THE LAMP

Eetu Liukas buried his 10th goal of the season in a 6-2 HPK victory over the Sword. The Islanders' 2021 fifth-round draft pick scored in the second period to make it 2-1 for HPK, taking back the lead for his team.

The 20-year-old forward is having a strong season in Liiga, sporting a career-high goals with 10 on the season, eclipsing last year's eight with TPS.
Liukas played in all 43 games for HPK this season, recording 18 points (10G, 8A).
