Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

In six games this season, the senior has two assists. Notre Dame is 15-6 overall this season with an 8-3 conference record.


QMJHL STILL ON PAUSE:

While originally slated to resume game action on Jan. 7, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is still on pause.
QMJHL players are
expected to report back to their teams on Jan. 14 with games scheduled to resume on Jan. 19
. The league has been off since Dec. 18.
William Dufour, the Islanders 2020 fifth-round pick (152nd overall), and the Saint John Sea Dogs will resume their schedule on Jan. 20 against the Quebec Remparts. Dufour leads the team with 22 goals and 47 points in 28 games this season and is currently tied for second in the league in points. Dufour was also riding a 16-game point streak with 29 points (12G, 17A) over that span heading into the pause.


LIUKAS RECORDS GOAL AND AN ASSIST:

Eetu Liukas had a two-point game in TPS's 3-1 win over SaiPa in Liiga action on Jan. 7.
Liukas, 2021 fifth-round pick (157th overall), dished out the secondary assist on the game-winning goal at 6:33 of the third period and added an empty-netter at 18:05. Liukas has five points (4G, 1A) in 25 games with TPS this year.
TPS is currently fifth in the Liiga standings with a 18-1-2-13 (W, OTW, OTL, L) record.

RÄTY RECORDS TWO ASSISTS:

Aatu Räty recorded a pair of assists in his lone game last week, a 4-3 Jukurit win over Kärpät, Räty's former Liiga club.
Räty dished the secondary assist on the OT winner, giving the Islanders 2021 second-round pick (52nd overall) 16 points (6G, 10A) in 15 games with Jukurit.
Jukurit is currently sixth in the Liiga standings with a 16-3-4-11 (W, OTW, OTL, L) record.
