Here are this week's updates on Islanders prospects:

The Islanders 2022 sixth-round pick (174th overall) took a team-high five shots in Game 1's 6-4 victory on Friday on home ice. Kuefler potted his first goal of the series, and second of the postseason on Saturday, extending Kamloops' lead to 5-0 on the power play in the final frame.

The Blazers held onto the shutout for the win and are looking to maintain their momentum for Game 3, which is slated for Wednesday.
Kuefler and the Blazers swept the Vancouver Giants in the first round of the WHL playoffs to swiftly advance to round two. The 21-year-old winger concluded the regular season at over a point-per-game, registering 61 points (31G, 30A) in 54 games played in his fourth season with the Blazers.

LENNOX, SPIRIT TRAIL 2-0 IN SECOND ROUND

Tristan Lennox and the Saginaw Spirit are down 2-0 to the Sarnia Sting in the second round of the OHL playoffs.
The 20-year-old netminder allowed two goals in 3-0 Game 1 loss on Friday. The Islanders' 2021 third-round draft pick (93rd overall) was caught in a heated goaltending battle with Ben Gaudreau of the Sting for Game 2, where the Spirit were defeated 2-1 in overtime. Lennox made 45 saves - marking a personal high in the postseason - in the heartbreaker for Saginaw, while Gaudreau made 33 saves in the win. Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday.
Lennox is sporting a .915 SV% and a 2.45 GAA through nine postseason starts, eclipsing his seven starts in his first and only previous playoff run in 2019.
The 20-year-old is coming off a thrilling finale in Game 7 of round one, where he made 20 saves in a 6-3 win to eliminate the Flint Firebirds on Monday and advance to the next round. The feat marks his first career series win.

GEORGE AND KNIGHTS HAVE ADVANTAGE IN ROUND TWO

Isaiah George and the London Knights lead the Kitchener Rangers 2-1 in the second round of the OHL playoffs.
The first three games of the series were high scoring, as the Knights took a 2-0 series lead with a 5-1 win on Thursday and an 8-4 victory on Friday, but the Rangers retaliated with a 6-1 win on Sunday to get back in the series. Game 4 is set for Tuesday.

George, the Islanders' 2022 fourth-round pick (98th overall), recorded eight shots on goal across six playoff appearances this postseason. The defenseman is competing in his first career playoff run in the OHL.
