The New York Islanders are looking to keep the hot hand going as they head to Vegas to take on the Golden Knights in the second leg of their first back-to-back set of the season.

The Islanders got back in the win column on Saturday night as they shut out the Arizona Coyotes 3-0 with a goal in every period. Cal Clutterbuck opened up scoring, while Brock Nelson tallied a power-play goal in the middle frame and Anthony Beauvillier scored in the third period on a breakaway. Ilya Sorokin recorded his first shutout of the season with a 26-save performance.
"I thought we were good tonight, the whole team," Beauvillier said of Saturday's win. "We had chances, we were strong on the puck, we created loose pucks and we did the right thing. We had chances and it was a big win for us."
The Vegas Golden Knights enter Sunday's matchup coming off of their third-straight loss after they dropped a 5-3 result to Edmonton on Friday night. Nicolas Roy, Nolan Patrick and Nicolas Hague scored in the loss. Robin Lehner made 28 saves on 32 shots.
