Nicolas Roy scored at 1:18 of overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights to a 2-1 overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals on Sunday night at Bell Centre.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless first period, Paul Byron got the Canadiens on the board, and they carried the 1-0 lead into the third frame. Midway through the third period, Brayden McNabb buried his first of the playoffs to tie the game. The score held through 60 minutes as Vegas and Montreal went to overtime for the second game in a row. Less than two minutes into the extra session, Nicolas Roy chipped the game-winning goal over a sprawled Carey Price to give the Golden Knights the series-tying win. Robin Lehner made 27 saves on 28 shots in his first game of the series.
