VEGAS (January 11, 2021) - The National Hockey League announced today, January 11, that Pete DeBoer will serve as the head coach of the Pacific Division during the 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend, which will be held February 4-5 at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. DeBoer joins Andrew Brunette of the Florida Panthers (Atlantic), Jared Bednar of the Colorado Avalanche (Central) and Rod Brind'Amour of the Carolina Hurricanes (Metropolitan) as head coaches.

DeBoer was selected as head coach after leading Vegas atop the Pacific Division with a .618 points percentage (points earned divided by total possible points) through games as of Monday, January 10.
The Ontario native is currently in his third season behind the Vegas bench. Since becoming the second head coach in franchise history on January 15, 2020, he has steered his team to an overall record of 78-33-5 during the regular season. In the first campaign under DeBoer's helm, the Golden Knights advanced to the 2020 Western Conference Final in Edmonton, Alberta, before falling to the Dallas Stars. DeBoer and the Golden Knights were once again among the NHL's final four clubs during the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs, losing to the Montreal Canadiens in six games.
The 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Weekend at T-Mobile Arena will include the 2022 NHL All-Star Skills™ presented by DraftKings Sportsbook on Friday, February 4 and the 2022 Honda NHL® All-Star Game on Saturday, February 5. This will be the first time the Golden Knights will host the NHL's All-Star activities.
