OPPOSITION UPDATE
Anaheim arrived in Vegas late Saturday night after picking up a 5-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche at Pepsi Center. The Ducks were led by defenseman Hampus Lindholm whose three assists powered them to their seventh win of the young season.
Lindholm's nine assists are the most on the team while he shares the overall points lead with Jakob Silfverberg (4G, 5A). Goalie John Gibson has posted a 4-5-0 record in net while Ryan Miller is 3-0-0.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Overload Their Goalie: The Golden Knights will look to get back to their winning ways Sunday and, to do that, they'll look to get as many shots on Gibson or Miller as possible. When Vegas is clicking offensively, the workload can overwhelm any goalie.
Stop The Rush: The Ducks scored three of their five goals Saturday night off the rush. There's no delay in entering the offensive zone and attacking the net for Anaheim so Vegas will have to stop them at the blueline.
