The second game came two and a half weeks later on Jan. 17, when the Golden Knights secured a lopsided 7-2 victory, featuring multi-point nights for Shea Theodore and Mitch Marner. Their last battle was March 21, resulting in a 4-1 victory for the Predators.

They lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs in overtime on the road, beat the Montreal Canadiens while away, and concluded their first road trip with a shootout loss against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.

In the offseason, the Predators made a few changes to their roster, adding the likes of Mavrik Bourque, Ross Colton and Jack Drury to strengthen their forward lineup.
