This was the theme that Malcolm Subban used for his new goalie mask, debuted on practice in Vancouver Wednesday.

With the slogan, which has very much embodied the city of Las Vegas since the tragedy of October 1, across its forehead, Subban's mask has a very sharp, sleek motif. With a darkened Las Vegas skyline illuminated by a golden sunrise, Subban's mask embodies the Golden Knights' team colors as much as a picturesque southwestern theme.

This is in contrast to the mask Subban has worn since being acquired off waivers from the Boston Bruins on October 3- a generic, white, "placeholder" mask. Holding the place until Subban's artist could develop something original that fits the goalie's new team.

One of the more subtle details that's also worth noticing is the composure of the sides of the buildings in the Las Vegas skyline.
