City National Arena has been open for a few weeks now.
Golden Knights players have been skating at the team's practice facility. UNLV has housed events. And even recreational players, children and adults, have taken their turns on both of the suburban Summerlin arenas' two NHL-sized rinks.
On Monday, however, the building opened.
As in officially.
With Golden Knights Chairman/CEO Bill Foley on hand as well as several community leaders, the building was "officially" opened.
It will now serve as a hub for hockey throughout Souther Nevada, as well as our NHL team's headquarters.
Here are some of the best photos from Monday's opening.
