VEGAS (January 13, 2022) -The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, January 13, that forward prospect Brendan Brisson was officially named to the 25-player roster for the 2022 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team that will compete at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, China in February. Brisson was selected by the Golden Knights in the first round (29th overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Brisson is currently in his sophomore season with the Michigan Wolverines (NCAA) and leads the team with 14 goals in 23 games. As a freshman in Ann Arbor, Brisson collected 21 points (10 G, 11 A) amid a shortened 24-game season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the California native played for the Chicago Steel (USHL) and recorded 59 points (24 G, 35 A) in 45 games. Internationally, Brisson earned a gold medal playing with Team USA at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship in Alberta. The forward scored twice in seven contests during the tournament.
The U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team will match up with China on Thursday, February 10 to open the competition.
