We're back, and we're kicking it up a notch!
With the Oilers now out of the picture following last week's Battle of Alberta beatdown, the Flames will look to pummel another Pacific rival as the virtual Vancouver Canucks pay a visit to the Scotiabank Saddledome tonight at 7 p.m. MT.

It's the second - simulated - game of our new series that will happen weekly during the "pause."
But now, our goal is to create a more immersive fan experience.
On Tuesday, we put out the call to you - the C of Red - to help choose our opponent, our sweaters, and even give you the chance to enter and become part of the action, up close and personal:
Tweet from @NHLFlames: Do you want to be part of our next @EASPORTSNHL #NHL20 simulation game? Want to 'skate' on a line with Johnny and Mony?Enter now for a chance to be a part of this week's game: https://t.co/0ri7yZHkXP pic.twitter.com/HGG3jDEpTM
In all, 379 people responded and passionately made their case for why they should 'suit up' alongside the pros. It wasn't easy, but after considering all the options, the CalgaryFlames.com staff landed on two of our diehard fans:
Travis Gauthier and Bailey Knapp - both of Calgary.
Gauthier is the ultimate power forward who plays a physical game, has buttery smooth hands, and will bring speed, skill, and unquestionably great hair to the top line alongside Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan. He describes himself as "the next Mike Commodore, but a little better," he never shies away from a hit or fight, and will "always take a team friendly contract."
Now we're talking!
Gauthier, #70, requested a bright red afro, a tinted visor, and for his player to sport the famous Gretzky jersey tuck.

While Gauthier will look to carry the mail offensively, Knapp has a tough job ahead of her against the high-flying Vancouver Canucks.
She'll get the start in goal tonight after a stunning season with the Calgary Titans of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League. In all, she appeared in 13 games this year, compiling a 9-1-1-2 record this year (W-L-OT-TIE) with five shutouts.
What a resumé!
Knapp, who appeared in the 2020 AJFHL All-Star Game earlier this year, won a silver medal at the women's under-18 national championship - the Esso Cup - back in 2015.
She will don black-and-white Vaughn goalie pads, a red-and-white Bauer stick, and will become the 14th goalie in franchise history to wear #31.

Flames radio play-by-play announcer Derek Wills will have the call, while two-time Juno and seven-time CCMA Award-winner, George Canyon, sing the national anthem, accompanied by Flames organist, Willy Joosen.
The action gets underway LIVE at 7 p.m. on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and right here on CalgaryFlames.com.
