On Tuesday evening, Johnny Gaudreau became the ninth player in Flames history to record 100 points in a season with a primary assist on Matthew Tkachuk's goal in the third period against the Seattle Kraken.
Gaudreau is the first Flame since Theoren Fleury to hit the 100-point mark, who posted 100 points in 1992-93. The winger is also the first player drafted in the fourth round or later to hit the milestone since Daniel Alfredsson (a sixth-round pick) did so in 2005-06 and the second U.S.-born player in the past 25 years to reach the 100-point mark in a season, joining Patrick Kane (110 in 2018-19 & 106 in 2015-16).
He would go on to add his 101st point shortly after, another primary assist on Tkachuk's third goal of the evening.

This season, Gaudreau has 49 primary assists, 51 even-strength assists (1st in the NHL), 79 even-strength points (1st in the NHL), a +56 rating (1st in the NHL), 34 goals, 67 assists, and is averaging 18:21 of ice time per game.
