Anaheim's preseason continues tonight as the club travels to Arizona to take on the Coyotes at Gila River Arena. (6 p.m. PT, TV: None, Radio: KSPN 710). Still in search of their first exhibition win, the Ducks have gone 0-2-0 thus far with losses against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday (4-1) and Thursday (7-3).

Including tonight's game, the Ducks have four more remaining on their six-game preseason schedule. Anaheim will return home to host the Coyotes on Monday night (7 p.m. PT), before taking on the LA Kings next Wednesday at Honda Center (7 p.m. PT) and next Saturday at Staples Center in the preseason finale (7:30 p.m. PT). The Ducks' regular season opener will take place on Wednesday, October 3 against the Sharks at SAP Center (7:30 p.m. PT).
The Coyotes enter tonight's game with a 2-1-0 mark in the preseason. Arizona dropped its preseason opener, 7-2, against the Vegas Golden Knights, but earned victories against the Kings in a split-squad game this past Tuesday (4-2 W at home, 4-3 W in LA). Arizona has been hit hard by injuries thus far in training camp/preseason, the latest being star forward Alex Galchenyuk.
Acquired from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Max Domi on June 15, Galchenyuk suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday against the Kings - a game in which he scored two goals. In a story posted on ArizonaCoyotes.com, head coach Rick Tocchet had this to say regarding Galchenyuk's status. "Alex is going to meet with our medical team. He's had some evaluation, (but) we'll know something next week with him. From experience with injuries, every player's different. Some guys (take) longer than others (to recover)."
In addition to Galchenyuk, centers Christian Dvorak (lower body), Dylan Strome (upper body) and 2018 fifth-overall pick Barrett Hayton (upper body) are all dealing with injuries.
