The Ducks will raise funds and awareness for Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Children's) by hosting CHOC Night this Sunday, March 5 when the club faces the Vancouver Canucks at Honda Center (5 p.m.). Ducks fans are invited to participate in CHOC Night in a variety of ways, including a silent auction with Ducks memorabilia and a 'text to donate' campaign.

Sunday's CHOC Night celebrates an 11-year partnership between the Anaheim Ducks and CHOC Children's. Fans attending or watching Sunday's PRIME TICKET telecast can donate to CHOC Children's in a number of ways. Text "CHOC" to "71777," and a specified donation will be made to the hospital. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items at Section 212, including team memorabilia and signed Choco bears. Fans can purchase limited edition Choco bears wearing player-autographed mini Ducks jerseys prior to the game at the South Entrance (located between the Anaheim Ducks Team Store and Standing O restaurant) along with special CHOC Night t-shirts beginning at 3 p.m. In addition, proceeds from the evening's Anaheim Ducks Foundation 50/50 Raffle will benefit CHOC Children's.
CHOC Children's Executive VP & COO, Mathew Gerlach, will be featured on both the Ducks television and radio broadcasts, highlighting CHOC's commitment to creating an innovative mental health system of care. This includes building an inpatient mental health center at CHOC that will provide a safe, nurturing place for children ages 3 to 18, and specialty programming for children younger than 12.
During the game, CHOC patients and physicians will have the opportunity to be a part of in-game elements such as riding the Zamboni, Honorary Duck, and honorary puck drop. CHOC Children's signage will also be prevalent in-game on the center-hung scoreboard screens, as well as on StadiumVision screens throughout the concourses on all three Honda Center levels.
