The Ducks have reassigned goaltender Reto Berra and defenseman Jaycob Megna to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Berra, 30 (1/3/87), went 1-1-0 with a 2.27 goals-against average (GAA) and a .932 save percentage (SV%) in four games with the Ducks this season. Signed as a free agent on July 5, 2017, Berra made his Anaheim debut on Oct. 13 at Colorado and earned his first win as a Duck on Nov. 20 at San Jose. The 6-4, 218-pound goaltender has posted a 20-36-4 record with three shutouts, a 2.86 GAA and .905 SV% in 75 career NHL games with Anaheim, Florida (2016-17), Colorado (2013-16) and Calgary (2013-14). Berra also made his San Diego Gulls debut on Nov. 4 at Ontario, stopping 38-of-41 shots in a 4-3 shootout win.
Megna, 24 (12/10/92), earned one assist with two penalty minutes (PIM) in 11 games with the Ducks this season. Megna made his season debut with Anaheim on Oct. 9 vs. Calgary and collected his first career NHL point (assist) along with a career-high +3 rating on Oct. 20 vs. Montreal. Selected by Anaheim in the seventh round (210th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft, Megna has recorded 6-38=44 points with a +55 rating and 57 PIM in 163 career AHL games with San Diego and Norfolk.
