As part of the 25th Anniversary Season presented by UCI Health, the Ducks will establish the 9|27 Fund in honor of Paul Kariya and Scott Niedermayer's Jersey Retirement Nights. The 9|27 Fund will be comprised of the net proceeds from special Kariya and Niedermayer merchandise available exclusively at Honda Center (debuting on each players' respective game nights), as well as the Anaheim Ducks Foundation 50/50 raffle proceeds from both retirement nights and additional miscellaneous fundraising.

Thanks to both players and Ducks Owners Henry and Susan Samueli, the 9|27 Fund will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim, Ronald McDonald House Orange County and the Anaheim Ducks Foundation. Funds will be distributed at the end of the regular season.
Kariya's ceremony will begin at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to see the historic moment as the second jersey in franchise history is retired. Niedermayer's #27 jersey will follow to the rafters as the Ducks conclude their silver celebration week on Feb. 17 vs. Washington.
