BLOG: Devils at the VMAs Coverage and Content

NEWARK, NJ -Devils forward Blake Coleman was NewJerseyDevils.com's Red Carpet Host for the 2019 MTV VMAs at Prudential Center on Monday night. Check out some of the coverage from the event.
Coleman was ready to go from the start of the night.

Unfortunately, he struggled to track down Taylor Swift, who had a busy media itinerary.

He was, however, able to chat with New York Jets player Brent Qvale. The two discussed a swap of tickets to games this season.
Coleman was ready for Lizzo to give him some pointers.........

And he was more than eager to help a teammate get a date during his chat with the cast of MTVs Floribama Shore.

Coleman tracked down musical group CNCO, who later performed on the red carpet, and asked them about their hockey knowledge.

Later in the night, he began to turn celebrities into Devils fans.
As the night began to wind down, Coleman and Diplo bonded over their mutual admiration of cowboy hats.

Then Coleman had the opportunity to interview Newark native Ice-T.

The night wrapped up with Coleman chatting with his new teammate P.K. Subban and Lindsey Vonn just days after their engagement announcement.
