Highmore Acquire - media wall

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has acquired forward Matthew Highmore from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Adam Gaudette.

Highmore, 25, has recorded two points (0-2-2) and six penalty minutes in 24 games played with the Chicago Blackhawks this season. Over parts of three seasons with Chicago, he has collected 10 points (4-6-10) and 12 penalty minutes in 73 career NHL games.
The 5'11", 188-pound forward has skated in nine career NHL playoff games with the Blackhawks, all in 2019.20, collecting four points (3-1-4), including the game-winning goal in game four to force a fifth game against the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Quarterfinal.
Highmore has also appeared in 97 career AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs, recording 64 points (31-33-64) and 44 penalty minutes. His 24 goals as a rookie in 2017.18 set a team record for most goals by a rookie and ranked first among all Rockford skaters, while his 43 points ranked second.
