MONTREAL - Once again this season, we're calling upon you, the fans, to determine THE play of the year, the one that made you jump out of your seats with pure excitement.
There were lots of exciting moments on the highlight reel this season, from players both young and old, from Habs newcomers and Montreal veterans. Goaltender Carey Price finds his name all over the bracket with some eye-popping saves, while rookie Jesperi Kotkaniemi also has a few tallies in the running.
WSH@MTL: Price makes incredible desperation save
Max Domi, Tomas Tatar, Brendan Gallagher, Shea Weber, Paul Byron, and Artturi Lehkonen will each also make their own case for top honors, while Ryan Poehling's sensational first career NHL game figures among the nominations. Sixteen plays were selected, and there will be one duel per day over the next two weeks. The winner will be unveiled on May 31. Until then, hit those keyboards and keep on voting!
