Canadiens Sharks

SHARKS (18-11-1) @ CANADIENS (19-6-4)
On Friday night, the Canadiens will play their first game in four days when they play host to the San Jose Sharks at the Bell Centre.

The two teams last met 14 days ago in San Jose where the Sharks handed the Canadiens a 2-1 loss at the SAP Center. Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski managed to beat Carey Price, while Artturi Lehkonen was the only player to put the puck past Martin Jones. The two goaltenders will square off again in Montreal.
Michel Therrien's troops will be going in search of their league-leading 15th win on home ice during the 2016-17 campaign. They already lead the league in home victories on the year.
Back on Monday night, the Canadiens dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre.
For their part, the Sharks will try to rattle off a fourth straight win. In their last outing on Wednesday night in Ottawa, Pete DeBoer's club earned a 4-3 shootout win over the Senators.
For his part, Logan Couture will be in the lineup against the Canadiens after being forced to leave Wednesday night's game due to injury.
