MONTREAL – The Canadiens held an optional skate at the Bell Centre ahead of their second meeting of the month against Buffalo on Thursday.

Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Samuel Montembeault will defend the cage against the Sabres.

In total, 13 players hit the ice.

The team is also hosting Youppi!’s Mascot Party tonight. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. For tickets, click here.
