DETROIT - Here are five things you need to know ahead of Tuesday night's matchup against the Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena.

1. The Canadiens will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak. In their most recent outing, Claude Julien's squad let a 3-0 lead slip away before falling 4-3 in overtime to the Dallas Stars on Saturday night at the Bell Centre. It was Tyler Seguin who settled the score in the extra frame. Joel Armia, Jordan Weal and Nick Cousins found the back of the net for Montreal. For his part, Carey Price turned aside 22 of 26 shots in the loss.

2.By picking up an assist on Weal's second-period goal against the Stars, Nick Suzuki amassed an 11th point in his last 11 games. His 11 points (3g, 8a) since the NHL All-Star break rank him first in rookie scoring during that span alongside Vancouver Canucks defenseman, Quinn Hughes. With 12 goals and 38 points in 61 games so far this season, the 20-year-old centerman is the first Canadiens rookie to reach the 38-point mark since Chris Higgins in 2005-06. Higgins amassed 12 goals and 38 points in 82 games that season.

3. On Tuesday morning, Julien confirmed that both Shea Weber and Paul Byron should be in uniform against the Red Wings. That's also the case for Jonathan Drouin, who missed Saturday night's game with a sprained ankle. Brendan Gallagher, however, is still questionable. We should learn more about the Canadiens' lineup during the pregame warmup.

4. The Red Wings were in action on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, falling 5-1. Valtteri Filppula scored the lone goal for Detroit. Just like the Canadiens, Jeff Blashill's squad has lost their last four games. Centerman Dylan Larkin leads the club with 40 points (15g, 25a), while winger Tyler Bertuzzi ranks second with 39 points (18g, 21a). Defenseman Filip Hronek sits third with 29 points (9g, 20a).
5. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. You can watch the game on TSN2 and RDS, and listen to all the action on TSN Radio 690 and 98,5 fm. Following the contest, the Canadiens will travel to Washington where they'll battle the Capitals on Thursday night.
