Here's what you need to know heading into the game:
1. The Habs are looking for their second win of the trip after a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Sabres in Buffalo on Thursday. Kaiden Guhle scored his first career NHL goal in that one, with Brendan Gallagher also tallying and Josh Anderson netting the game-winner with just 3:46 left in regulation. Sam Montembeault made 43 saves in the win.

2. Anderson also picked up a helper on Gallagher's opening goal against Buffalo. He wasn't the only Montreal skater with two points in the game; defenseman David Savard set up - and earned assists on - both the Guhle and Anderson goals in addition to registering four blocked shots and a plus-2 differential in 22:49 of ice time.

3. The Canadiens skated at the Blues' practice facility, the Centene Community Ice Center, on Friday and will be running an off-ice session in lieu of a morning skate on Saturday. Head coach Martin St-Louis is slated to hold a pregame presser in the afternoon, so we'll have to wait until then to find out about any potential changes to the lineup.
4. At the other end of the rink, the Blues got off to a strong start and won their first three games of the season, but the good times came to an end and they now find themselves trying to snap a three-game losing streak. They were also last in action on Thursday, losing 6-2 to the Predators in Nashville in the second game of a back-to-back. Robert Thomas and Brayden Schenn were the goal-scorers for St. Louis in the loss, while Thomas Greiss made 36 saves. Schenn and Justin Faulk share the team lead with seven points apiece, while Faulk's three goals are tops on the Blues.
5. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. You can watch the action on City, Sportsnet 360, or TVA Sports, or listen in on TSN 690 or 98,5 fm on the radio.
