TORONTO – Josh Anderson, Zachary Bolduc and Alexandre Carrier net their firsts of the 2026-27 season to allow the Canadiens to open the campaign with a 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday.

The Leafs grabbed a 1-0 lead early in the first period with a goal from William Nylander, but the Habs jumped to a 2-1 lead with goals from Anderson and Bolduc. Carrier potted the eventual game-winner before Nylander found the back of the net again.
