Question from @desjardinsnhl30 on Instagram
What kind of player do you need for the 2020 Draft?
Well we have 14 picks in the 2020 Draft so we're going to get all kinds of great players. It's always been the philosophy of our drafting team, led by Trevor Timmins and Marc Bergevin, to pick the best player available regardless of position. I attend all the Draft meetings and listen to what the scouts have to say and there are some very good players available this year. Things have been a little different this year, in that our meetings are done over Microsoft Teams, which is our internal video conference platform.

An inside look at the Habs' scouting meetings

The scouts help rank players to start creating the draft list, and if there's a player we're looking at, our scouts have seen him play many, many times. They've also spent quite a bit of time reviewing game footage this year. There are so many factors they look at, from speed and scoring and size, to off-ice attributes. You're drafting the whole package. Things will be different this year, but the approach is the same.

As an owner of an NHL team, what kind of relationship do you have with other team owners?
I have an excellent relationship with the other owners and CEOs. The Canadian team owners speak quite often, just because there are a lot of things we deal with in common. I'll speak to the leadership teams from the Kings and Rangers and Islanders pretty often as well. It's a good group of people and we all try to help each other out whenever we can.
Question from @JA31\_Big\_Save on Twitter
Any chance you'd hold a tryout to the public for the EBUG [emergency backup goaltender] position? After seeing [David Ayres] in the net I started to dream again.
(laughs) I don't think that's likely to happen. We have quality emergency backups here in Montreal who are already helping us out, so we've already got a good network of potential EBUGs. Sorry about that!
Question from Marco Scartozzi on Facebook
Will you bring back [Andrei] Markov and celebrate his career in Habs uni?
Yes, we will for sure. It's a priority for us. It's really rare to have a player who only plays for one team for so long. He's one of the best defensemen in the team's history. We have to get him back at some point so our fans have a chance to show their appreciation for everything he did for the team during his career.

Question from @at\_barry28 on Instagram
When do you think the rebuilding stage for this team will be over?
I think we're heading into a phase where we've rebuilt enough to feel confident that we're going to have a competitive team for the next several years. Every year we have to build off the prior season. I do think we have a core group of players, young guys and veterans, who are capable of delivering a high-performing team and we've got some great young prospects coming up as well. The way the team played in the playoffs this year was a great sign of things to come.

Question from @laurent.lat28 on Instagram
Who is your favorite Habs alum?
Well I've said this before, but as a kid, I loved Steve Shutt and Chris Chelios. In my current role, I'm lucky I get to interact with alumni on a fairly regular basis, and I think the person I have the most appreciation for is Rejean Houle, who is the quarterback of our alumni association. He's involved in everything we do from a community perspective. He gives his heart and soul not only to the organization but also to the communities that need his support. He does everything he can to get other alumni to join him. He's ever-present everywhere we go, and he's really one of our organization's great alums.
