Habs center earns assist as the Swedes blank the Americans in semis on Saturday

MONTREAL - Jacob de la Rose and Sweden are heading to the IIHF World Hockey Championship final after blanking the United States on Saturday.

Viktor Arvidsson got a pair of goals, including the game winner, while Magnus Paajarvi, Patric Hornqvist, Mattias Janmark, and Adrian Kempe also found the back of the net.
For his part, de la Rose contributed one assist to the winning cause in 15:47 of play.
Charlie Lindgren did not dress for the United States, with Keith Kinkaid manning the crease.
De la Rose and Sweden will face Switzerland for gold on Sunday, while the Americans will take on Canada for bronze.
