Groupe CH chefs to prepare over 50,000 meals for the food banks of Quebec

MONTREAL -- The Montreal Canadiens and Groupe CH are proud to team up withLa Tablée des Chefsand its partners for Les Cuisines Solidaires, a mobilization movement to fill refrigerators of the Food Banks of Quebec.

With a goal of producing more than 800,000 meals, La Tablée des Chefs brought together more than 100 chefs and cooks - including those from the Bell Centre restaurants and Taverne 1909 signé St-Hubertrestaurants in Montreal and Laval - a multitude of partners and donors to implement this initiative which will allow the distribution of prepared meals to hundreds of organizations across Quebec.

The COVID-19 crisis has severely affected the activities of community organizations, many of which have even had to close for lack of resources, adding to the uncertainty experienced by an increasing number of individuals and families who depend on their assistance daily.
