APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS
The Laval Rocket will need April showers if there's any hope for May flowers… and by showers, we mean wins; by flowers, we mean playoffs. But before the calendar turns to April, the focus remains on the task at hand in March. Two games remain on the schedule this month, starting with Tuesday's game against the Manitoba Moose.
Laval started their road swing on the right foot with a 4-1 win over the Moose on Sunday and will be looking for a repeat performance in their midweek rematch. Game time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET.
March concludes in Rockford where the Rocket will face the IceHogs on Friday evening. Earlier this month, Chicago's affiliate team snuck out of Place Bell with a 2-1 victory over the Laval, and on Friday, the Rocket will be looking to return the favor at BMO Center. The puck drops at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Laval's four-game road trip ends in Milwaukee where the Rocket will square off with the Admirals for the second time in as many weeks. The Admirals staved off a late comeback effort from the Rocket last Friday to escape Place Bell with a 3-2 win. Jean-François Houle's squad will look for revenge on Saturday in Wisconsin. The action gets underway at 7:00 p.m. ET.
GOING ONCE, GOING TWICE…
Fans can still get their hands on the Habs' unique locker room nameplates and warmup jerseys worn prior to last Saturday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets and designed for the second edition of the team's Indigenous Celebration Night.
