Jerome-Charlebois-Rick-Duff

MONTREAL – Cue playoff fever in Montreal.

On Wednesday, a pair of Quebec-based artists,  Jérôme Charlebois and Rick Duff, are releasing music videos for two new songs inspired by the Canadiens’ upcoming postseason campaign.

First up is Charlebois, who recorded a cover of the classic song “Je reviendrai à Montréal” originally released by his father Robert in 1976, and now featuring new hockey-themed lyrics.

Later in the day, Duff, a Montreal-based folk and country singer, will share the clip for “Killer Instinct,” an English-language ode to the Habs that was shot at the Bell Centre and features a cameo by organist Diane Bibaud.

The music video is slated to drop at 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday on the Canadiens’ official YouTube channel. Fans can also pre-save the track on Spotify here, to listen when it is officially released on digital streaming platforms on Thursday.
