Canadiens claim forward Rem Pitlick off waivers

Pitlick has 11 points in 20 games with the Wild this season

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens claimed forward Rem Pitlick off waivers from the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old Ottawa, ON native has 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) in 20 games with Minnesota this season.
A third-round selection of the Nashville Predators (76th overall) in 2016, Pitlick is a product of the University of Minnesota.
He has 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 31 career NHL games between the Predators and the Wild.
Pitlick's brother, Rhett, was a fifth-round pick of the Canadiens (131st overall) in 2019.
He is a freshman forward at the University of Minnesota.
