BostonBruins.com - Bruins center prospect Brett Harrison has been added to Canada's National Junior Team summer development camp that begins this weekend in Calgary. The camp serves as an evaluation as Team Canada begins the process of icing a team for the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship which is set for December.

Harrison finished second in team scoring for Oshawa (OHL) in 2021-22, notching 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 65 games. The 19-year-old Ontario native made strong strides after compiling 37 points in 58 games in 2019-20 before the OHL shut down and missed the entire 2020-21 campaign because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I had an up-and-down year and faced some adversity," Harrison said at last week's Development Camp. "But I think it was a very successful year. Just trying to grow in all aspects of my game."
Harrison last represented Canada at the U-18 World Junior Championship in 2021, collecting two goals in seven games. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound pivot was drafted by the Bruins in the third round (85th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
