Vladimir Tarasenko, who was a surprise last-minute scratch on Thursday night due to a lower-body injury, will miss his second straight game on Saturday night in Minnesota. (7 p.m. CT, BSMW, 101 ESPN).
Tarasenko was on the ice with his teammates in Saturday's morning skate, but Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said after practice that he wouldn't be ready to play. Tarasenko is still considered day-to-day.
In addition, the Blues will be without Torey Krug on Saturday as he deals with an upper-body injury. Berube said Krug is day-to-day, too.

"It's tough, both of them were playing well and contributing on the power play," Berube said after Saturday's practice at Xcel Energy Center. "Obviously, just playing good hockey all around. We've got guys who can come in, fill in and do the job. That's part of it all. We've had injuries all year, so it's really no different."

Blais and Berube on wrapping up trip in MIN

Based on the morning skate, it looks like Sammy Blais will remain in Vladimir Tarasenko's spot with Jaden Schwartz and Tyler Bozak. Jake Walman was skating with Colton Parayko on the second defense pairing Saturday and looks to replace Krug.
Here is a projected lineup for Saturday's game, which will wrap up a three-game road trip in Minnesota.
