There's nothing more exciting than the start of a new hockey season.
The opening of the 2017-18 season promises to be special, and certainly even more fun with events leading up to the home opener on Oct. 7 when the Blues host Ken Hitchcock and the Dallas Stars.
Face-Off Week, presented by Dobbs, will give fans a chance to watch the season opener on Oct. 4 in Pittsburgh during Ice Breaker at Ballpark Village, then kicks off the home opener with the Blue Note 5K in Forest Park. Then, before the game, enjoy a pregame happy hour at Scottrade Center.

Oct. 4 - Ballpark Village
Kick off the 2017-18 NHL season at Ballpark Village as the Blues travel to play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. Blues fans can enjoy happy hour from 4-5 p.m. at FOX Sports Midwest Live!, watch the game on the giant screen, enjoy appearances by Blues celebrities, on-stage entertainment courtesy of Darren Pang and John Kelly, and the chance to win great prizes through a scavanger hunt and raffle!

Oct. 7 - Forest Park
Join us in Forest Park on Oct. 7 for the Blue Note 5K! Enjoy appearances from Blues Alumni and Louie, and the event will be DJed by Blues hypeman Tony Patrico. The race begins at 9 a.m. Every finisher will receive a free T-shirt and medal.
