Annual Traverse City prospects tournament kicks off Friday

Hockey is back, and the top CBJ prospects are set to hit the ice in Traverse City, MI for the annual prospects tournament. With several players fighting for the final few Blue Jackets roster spots, CBJ fans will want to keep an eye on things up north.

Key Attendees 

Forwards Alexandre Texier, Liam Foudy, Trey Fix-Wolansky and Maxime Fortier are all scorers to keep an eye on this week. On the blue line, be sure to watch Andrew Peeke and 2019 CBJ draft pick  Eric Hjorth. Arguably the most anticipated minutes of the tournament will come when goaltender Elvis Merzlikins is between the pipes. Merzlikins is expected to compete with Joonas Korpisalo throughout training camp for the CBJ starting goaltending position.
