PROSPECTS: Luypen Named CHL Star of the Week, Dach Record Three Points

LUYPEN NAMED CHL STAR, SEATTLE PRODUCES

With the Tri-City Americans, Jalen Luypen produced a six-point night with his first hat trick of the season and three assists. With six points in the game, he earned the first star of the week in the CHL.

Over with the Seattle Thunderbirds, Colton Dach returned to the lineup after missing a few games due to injury. In his last three games, the forward produced four points (2G, 2A). In 23 matchups this season, the 2021 draft pick recorded 12 goals and 15 assists.
As for fellow teammate Kevin Korchinski, the defenseman accumulated five points (2G,3A) in his last three games. With 65 points (4G, 61A) through 67 games, the team named the 2022 first round pick as the defenseman of the year.

REGULA RETURNS, PHILP EXTENDS POINT STREAK

Alec Regula made his return to the lineup after missing a month of action with an injury. In his return, he produced one assist, two shots on goal and two penalty minutes through two matchups.
Luke Philp extended his point streak to five games. In that span, he netted five goals and two assists.

Arvid Soderblom earned his 10th win of the season after producing a 43-save night with 46 shots faced. He brings his record to 10-9-5 with a .899 save percentage.
