Avalanche Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 1 Schedule Announced

The Colorado Avalanche will open its postseason on Thursday night at the Nashville Predators after the National Hockey League finalized the schedule for the first round of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sunday night.
Colorado begins its best-of-seven series versus the 2017-18 Presidents' Trophy winners at 7:30 p.m. MT on Thursday at Bridgestone Arena. The Avalanche and Predators will square off in an afternoon affair for Game 2, with the 1 p.m. MT contest set to be televised on NBC and CNBC.

The series then shifts to Denver for the next two contests on Monday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 18. Both outings will begin at 8 p.m. MT and will be televised nationally in the United States on NBCSN.
If necessary, the Avs will also host Game 6 of Round 1 on April 22, while the Predators will be home for Game 5 on April 20, and Game 7 on April 24.

Altitude TV will join the networks of NBC in televising select games throughout Colorado's postseason run. SportsNet and TVA Sports will broadcast the first four contests of the opening-round series in Canada.
Start times and broadcast coverage for Games 5-7 will be announced at a later time.
