Stars defenseman John Klingberg scored his first goal at this year's IIHF World Championship on Tuesday, but Sweden fell to Russia, 7-4, on the final day of preliminary-round play.
Sweden, which finished third in Group B with a 5-2-0 record, will play Finland, which finished second in Group A, in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Russia, which finished first in Group B with a 7-0-0 record, will play the United States, which finished fourth in Group A.
