Here's to the now or neversHere's where you and I say goodbye

• The Stars and Seattle Kraken close out a three-game season series Saturday night at American Airlines Center. Dallas and Seattle have split the first two, with both teams winning on home ice.
• These teams most recently met on April 3 at Climate Pledge Arena, a 4-1 Stars defeat. John Klingberg recorded the lone Stars goal, and Jake Oettinger stopped 25 of 28 shots.
• The series opener on Jan. 12 went a lot better for the Stars, who earned a 5-2 victory at AAC. Joe Pavelski recorded a career high five points (two goals, three assists), while linemates Jason Robertson (one goal, one assist) and Roope Hintz (one goal, two assists) each recorded multi-point games. Oettinger allowed two goals on 25 shots in the win.
• Through two games, the Stars have gone 1-for-5 on the power play (20%) and 3-for-4 on the penalty kill (75%).

You tell me when and I'll be taking over

• Robertson's goal on Thursday against the Calgary Flames gave him points in two consecutive games (two goals, one assist) and 10 points (six goals, four assists) in his past nine.
• Robertson has recorded 22 multi-point games this season, co-leading the Stars and ranking tied for 23rd in the league.
• He also ranks third in the NHL in game-winning goals (10), which ranks tied for second-most in franchise history and one away from matching the franchise record of 11.
• The SoCal native leads the Stars in goals (38) and ranks second in points (73). His goal total also ranks tied for 14th in the NHL.
• Two goals away from the 40-goal mark, Robertson would become the youngest player in franchise history to record 40 goals in a season since Brian Bellows in 1983-84.

I gave my word to youI said that I'd stay true

Luke Glendening lit the lamp Thursday night against Calgary for his ninth goal and 16th point of the season, his highest total since 2018-19. He's one goal away from recording double digits in a season for the fourth time in his career.
• Glendening leads Dallas forwards and ranks third on the club with an average of 2:16 shorthanded ice time per game and ranks tied for fourth on the club with two shorthanded points (both assists). His average shorthanded time ranks 15th among league forwards while his season total of 177:19 ranks sixth.
• The 32-year-old has 168 hits this season, leading Dallas forwards and ranking second on the club, and ranks tied for eighth in blocked shots (55).
