Frisco RoughRiders unveil Dallas Stars-themed jerseys

Teddy Roosevelt is going to be cheering "Stars!" loudly and carrying a new kind of big stick.
A hockey stick.

The Frisco RoughRiders minor-league baseball team, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, will be wearing special Victory Green-themed jerseys on Friday, Sept. 9 as the club hosts its annual "Dallas Stars Night" against the Tulsa Drillers at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas.

Inspired by the Stars' home sweater, complete with laces and black-and-white striped accents, the special jersey also features Frisco's "Swinging Teddy" mascot in full hockey uniform -- right down to a hockey stick in place of his trademark baseball bat.
Fans can click here to purchase a Texas Hockey ticket package through the RoughRiders for the game and receive four tickets, two Hockey Teddy bobbleheads and two Stars/Riders co-branded beanies for only $76!

A limited number of jerseys will be available for purchase on the day of the game, exclusively at Frisco's "Riders Outpost" team store.
