The Texas Stars continue to rack up the wins, prevailing in all three of their games last week as they opened a five-game homestand.
The Stars, who have won eight of their last nine games, are 16-9-1 on the season and sit in third place in the Pacific Division. Jason Dickinson had a big week, scoring four goals in three games before getting called up to the NHL. And Landon Bow continues to play well in goal.
Here's the latest on the AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars.

Tuesday, December 5: Texas 5, Iowa 4 (OT)

Travis Morin scored 3:55 into overtime as Texas opened its five-game homestand with a 5-4 win over Iowa on Tuesday. The Stars overcame 1-0, 2-1, and 4-2 deficits in the game to force overtime with Jason Dickinson scoring the game-tying goal at 7:48 of the third period. Sheldon Dries scored two goals, and Brent Regner also scored for Texas. Landon Bow stopped 23 of 27 shots.

Friday, December 8: Texas 3, Bakersfield 2 (OT)

Landon Bow stopped 35 shots and Sheldon Dries scored with a minute left in overtime as Texas won its second straight game, downing Bakersfield, 3-2, at H-E-B Center Friday night. Jason Dickinson and Denis Gurianov also scored for the Stars, who improved to 5-0 in 3-on-3 overtime games.

Saturday, December 9: Texas 4, Ontario 2

The Stars made it three straight wins with a 4-2 victory over Ontario on Saturday night in Cedar Park. Jason Dickinson scored two goals, and Justin Dowling and Samuel Laberge also scored for Texas. Landon Bow stopped 23 shots for his 10th win of the season. Former Dallas goaltending prospect Jack Campbell stopped 29 of 32 shots for Ontario.

Idaho Steelheads

The Idaho Steelheads, Dallas' ECHL affiliate, went 2-1-0 last week and are now 14-7-4 on the season. The Steelheads are in third place in the Mountain Division. Dallas goaltending prospect Philippe Desrosiers lost his only start last week, stopping 32 shots in a 2-1 loss to Utah. Desrosiers is 10-2-2 on the season and ranks seventh in the ECHL with a 2.30 goals against average.
